I spent most of my youth in Cumberland County, North Carolina. After receiving my B.S. in Mathematics in 1988, I've been working as a computer programmer, systems analyst, and database analyst for the past 30+ years.

I was married from 1994 to 2007 and have a daughter, Rachel. She is the apple of my eye, and will forever be my baby. We were also foster parents for 5 years and had two long term placements. Hailei came to us in 2002 from birth to age 2 and Elizabeth in 2004 from age 2.5 to age 4. These two little girls added lots of laughter and tears, and forever touched our lives.

My hobbies include spending time with family and my 2 Australian labradoodles, Izzy & Bella, and genealogy.
