My parents are Darrell and Sherrie (Comer) Butler. My paternal grandparents are Clyde T. and Geneva (Proffitt) Butler and my maternal grandparents are Voris and Betty (RICH) Comer. I am currently researching my maiden name BUTLER.

I am also interested in my COMER, EMBERTON, STRODE, LYON, RICH, KNIGHT, PROFFITT, TURNER, RECORDS, MORGAN, and GRAY ancestors.

I am so excited to start this journey to find the missing links and put the pieces together. I love to research, and I am a complete nerd.

I am also interested in Monroe County, Kentucky history and genealogy since I was raised here. I descend from some of the first settlers of Monroe County, specifically Tompkinsville, and Gamaliel, KY.

I feel we should honor those before us and was taught to have a great respect for the dead.
