Over the years, I've built a collection of family photos (my own and other people's, c.1870-1940) through inheritance, donations, auctions, resale/estate purchases, and even garbage finds. By comparing info from original owners against resources available via Ancestry.com and other authorities, I'm often able to match photos with Find a Grave families.
