Greetings, I have been dabbling in genealogy research for my surname MOUSHEY which has some variations including MOUGIN, MOULIN and MAUGE. There is a strong early presentation of French heritage in Northern Ohio with other large representation in pockets throughout the US.

I'm particularly searching the background on the transition of the spelling in the mid 1800's from MOUGIN to MOUSHEY but ideally would like to connect all the existing MOUSHEY'S to a common family origin.

I'm also working in parallel on other family related Surnames i.e. Groezinger, Hughes, Troy, Woodford, Fiscus, Drozda, Sullivan, Mensing, Brooks, Turner.
