Bio

My family and I have been restoring gravestones of our ancestors for the past couple of years. We watched several YouTube videos to make sure that we did things correctly without harming the gravestones. Our direct ancestors are in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Iowa.

When we go to a cemetery of one of our ancestors, I usually look to see if there are any open photo requests. While my husband and son do the work of cleaning the gravestone, I try to find the graves that have open photo requests and take them. It is best if someone creates the memorial first and then requests the photo - that way they are the owner of the memorial.
