This is to anyone who is researching the Howey family of Hardin County, Kentucky and/or the Probasco family that came from Monmouth, New Jersey and later lived in Warren County, Ohio. If you are researching these families, you may have noticed that I've added a lot of photos owned by my cousin to the memorials of people in these families. He has many more unlabeled photos that we are sadly unable to identify. If you have any photos at all of these two families/close relatives of the families or think you may be able to identify any, please message me. We may be able to make some comparisons and hopefully solve some identities. It is very important to us that we identify as many of these pictures as we can. Thank you!

Back to me…

My name is Gracie, I'm a genealogist living in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Feel free to use any grave photos I have taken for your personal use, no need to ask. Please do ask me before using any portraits or "person" photos that I've added to memorials. Feel free to message me with any questions about photos I've added. If I've added a forget-me-not to a memorial, then that person is related to me in some way. I chose the forget-me-not to represent that I'm doing everything I can to ensure that that person will not be forgotten.

If I manage the memorial of a family member or friend of yours, I would be happy to transfer the memorial to you as long as they aren't related to me. You will have better access to information about them than me, so let me know how you are related to or knew them and I'll send it over. If I have made a mistake anywhere or if there is a duplicate of one of my memorials, don't hesitate to use the "Suggest Edits," feature or report the duplicate. If you need help from me based on my location for any genealogy research (specific photos from cemeteries near me, etc.), I would love to help you.

I do suggest the Findagrave app to all findagrave users out there. Not only does it make adding photos quickly while at a cemetery much easier, but it also has one feature I really love: the gps feature. You can stand next to a stone and click the gps feature on the findagrave app, and it will add a pin on a map for where the headstone is. I've found this to be extremely helpful, especially in extremely large cemeteries, when trying to find your ancestor's graves.

I love Find A Grave for making it so easy to record so much information and letting anyone around the world visit the graves of their loved ones at any time. Happy researching to you all, and a huge thanks to every single volunteer for this website. Even if you have taken one photo or added one memorial, you have helped document someone's memory and added to the growth of this website. Thank you!
