I was raised in Sugar Valley, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. This valley and its people are very near and dear to my heart. At an early age, my mother and father instilled in me a love of history. My grandfather, Torrence McKinley Miller, was a lover of history too. He documented the Miller family history by recording events in the family bible and writing names/dates on the back of family photographs.

Over the years, my mother and I have spent countless hours researching family history for the Miller, Troutner, Yorks, and Runkle families.
