Bio

I am a family historian and a direct descendant of the families for whom I manage memorials or provide suggestions and information for. Primarily, my interest is in my own family's history and to ensure that my family's memorials throughout Australia and overseas are completed with accurate fact-based information and connected. My aim is to leave a footprint behind for those that follow and to ensure my ancestors are not forgotten and can be found. I am happy to share with other direct descendants any of my research. Please just reach out.

If you think you have a closer relationship than myself to any of the memorials I manage please reach out.

Most people on this site have been absolutely wonderful to deal with and make the experience very rewarding and enriching. The sensitivity of this work to both the individual, and to people's families, and to history is not lost on them. To all those who have been so generous with their time, images, and acknowledgment I say a very big thank you. You are all gems!

I support a family first approach on this site and encourage others to do the same. Family will often have information that is invaluable to ensure that memorials are correctly completed and linked to their relatives. This is particularly the case for older historical graves where no living family member could possibly meet the current transfer rules in place. A family memorial online is no less important than a family grave in a cemetery. The two should be treated respectfully.
