Bio

Crystal Rose Eckman (Varner) daughter of Charles Dana Varner son of Obadiah kirksey and Edward Varner. My Grandfather which I knew by the name of ED lived his life from 1923-1995. He was a proud hero that served our country during WW 2. I was not able to have a relationship with him that I wanted because of the distance from S.C to Tx. I met him a few times though and I wish I could have been able to know him more. He always had a smile on his face and joked with me the few times I visited S.C. I was 10 years old and he passed on. I attended his funeral it was the first funeral I can remember attending and also was first for the military respects. The funeral was unforgettable.I was scared of the gunshots that were fired to respect my grandfather's journey. That day I became aware about the Declaration of independence and what freedom and America valued and meant. I wish I could have gotten to spend my days growing up drinking tea on the front porch swing, but I am down here on Earth looking up and smiling waiting for the day to reconnect and walk with my dad and grandfather and Jesus.
