I found this site by trying to find info on my family and my heritage and found that my grandmother, Bertha Scott, had been an active member on here. A wonderful lady who passed away in 2014, had been passionate about genealogy for as long as I can remember. Before there was anything like this she kept hard copies of what she could find (going to libraries and historical societies) which I have kept. Boxes of info that has laid dormant in my closet. Its time now grandma, to comb through them and put the pieces together. Thank you for being the woman you were to shape who our family is now.
