I was fortunate enough to have been personally gifted, by my father, his many years of family geneology research in the mid-1990's. He had been active in investigating not only his roots, but also that of my mother since the early 1960's. He was able to collect many first-hand stories from various ancestors who were still living at the time, making his hand-written papers even more precious to me. Sharing my father's love for history, I was immediately hooked, and over the years have greatly expanded my family tree information, with much more to come. I lost my father and my mother during the last few weeks of 2018, and I feel so blessed to be able to carry on Dad's legacy as he rests in peace next to my loving mother.
