I was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and grew up in Pompano Beach, Florida. I have lived in Greensboro, NC for the past 23 years. I began doing genealogy in the early 1990's and moved into working with genetic genealogy. I am a retired clinical psychologist. My maternal side is from Wayne and Wilson County's in NC. My paternal side is most recently from Georgia by way of NC and SC.
