Just started looking at this tonight. It's kind of a bummer that it is harder to trace the matriarchal side of my families. I've only been able to go back 2-3(if I'm lucky) generations of Matriarchs.On my father side, due to the surname, I was able to go back four generations.
But I'll keep persevering!
I am interested in tracing Shelton's and Hayes from MO and Greiger County TN.
And Gossett, Gault, Lavender's from Spartanburg SC
I hope to be able to submit edits, pics, etc soon!
And would welcome any knowledge or communication from others that have pearls of wisdom, and similar interests.
