I'm originally from Pennsylvania and now live in Upstate New York. I started researching my family tree after moving out of state and my family kept good records of names and dates, but had vague answers as to where ancestors were buried (like somewhere towards Philly, or in a rural Mennonite Cemetery, etc). Find a grave has been a great help in finding those cemeteries and obtaining the pictures of the tombstones to verify the dates on the records that I had.

I'm 200+ miles away from my ancestors' graves, but there are cemeteries closer to home with alot of photo requests. So, I've decided to try to fullfill those requests at Hope Cemetery in Tioga County, New York. If you have requests in that cemetery, I'd love hints on where to find the desired tombstons, but please be patient with me. I had surgery a few months ago and I'm not recovered yet. Hope Cemetery is pretty flat and is a good place to walk, but I can't stay on my feet for as long as I want to.

I will gladly transfer memorials for management. If you would like me to transfer the management of your loved one, please ask.
