My two main interets are tracing down my dad's family members, Faulk and Stanford family in Ohio. Then my mom's family members in Tennessee.
My dad, Richard James Stanford was born 1935 in East Palestine, Ohio. He was raised mainly in Sebring as a child. His mother, Mary Faulk born 1907 was born in Negley' Ohio and my dad's father Raymond Edward Stanford was born 1912 in Martins Ferry, Ohio. The Faulk family were mainly from within the Negley to Sebring / East Liverpool / East Palestine / area.
The Faulk family has been fairly easy to track down. My biggest mystery is trying to track down my great mother Bridget Lynch. I know she married Leland Stanford in 1909. They had two sons, Richard 1910 and my grandfather Raymond 1912 and lived in Smith Township for a bit and then they divorced. I can not seem to be able to track her down after she divorced. I believe Bridget Lynch may have been born around 1892 in East Palestine, Ohio.. I remember visiting my great grandmother Bridget at a nursing home in Lynwood, California sometime around 1974 -1977.
