Bio

Although I am new to the findagrave project, researching family history has been my obsession for 40 years. I have chosen to enter some of my discoveries on the site to help preserve the details of my ancestors' lives and families. I hope this endeavour will provide useful information to those who are interested, cultivate curiosity about our forebearers, and clarify some misinformation that has been copied and recopied for decades. My research is based on prime source documents whenever possible. I try my best to present accurate and detailed information.

My surname interests include Miskae/Myska, Bransgrove, Shaver, Denby, Steedman, Rickert, Cole and many, many others. I also have extensive particulars on my husband's Wiltse line which has been traced back to the 8th Century and includes numerous historically significant figures. I will enter them as time allows.

I wish to express my gratitude to the genealogy enthusiasts who have gone before me for generously sharing their finds and allowing others to build on their research. A special acknowledgement to Vernon Charles Lynes Shaver (1928-1998) who entrusted me with myriads of family photographs and invaluable knowledge.

My initial contribution will consist mainly of additional photos and information as well as links connecting family members to allow a tree to be assembled. I am willing to provide any available copies of original documents and guidance to those who are seriously interested in continuing the research.
