I have just clicked over 50 work as an integration aide in the primary school classroom supporting students with additional needs.
I have for a long time had an interest in cemeteries and the history and untold stories of those forgotten.
My current particular interest is of a grave site located in my local cemetery that is all alone far away from any other site at all of a young boy.
I have begun to research to find out how he died and will write a piece for our local historians to put a story behind this young boy. To document his short life with facts I can find and pass this onto the cemetery trust and the historical society. I may never know the answer behind his very unusual placement in the cemetery but have expressed wishes my husband and myself be buried along side him.
I visit and tidy his plot and leave a small token for him as I regularly do when visiting other cemeteries I choose a young persons grave site to leave a token to acknowledge them to show someone does remember.
