Bio

I am updating my family records as they came from Noel Akers (1953) and David L. Akers (1995). I grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota and now live in Yankton. (former territorial capital) I started my interest of family movement for a while, but had no place to start, when my mother informed me of the family papers she had. I went through a rough patch of health problems so I just recently started my search. Any and all help is welcome as there are so many with the same name and born/death in the same time period. I figure there were at least 3 Akers (Acres/Akors/Ackers) families that migrated.

I am also following my mother's family and trying to help capture some pictures for people on here, I found a whole new sleeve of family to document so it was a double bonus!!
