The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War was established in 1881 as the Sons of Veterans, and is the legal successor to the Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.).

Memorial owners: If you have a Civil War veteran memorial that you desparately no longer wish to manage, I will accept a transfer.
