John R Carr was my father. He was lead Chopper pilot shot down in VN , he broke every bone but lived.
The young 20 yr old gunner (William Olin Anderson) was thrown and died when chopper was shot down and crashed at 170 mph. Chopper did not blow up. Craig W Carr
