Find a Grave ID

Bio

I was born a Benton County resident in 1974 and have lived in Northwest Arkansas (Benton & Washington Counties) ever since. When I was growing up, my family would go out in a big group and visit all of our family's graves at many different cemeteries at least once a year. My grandparents instilled in me a solemn respect for and also a strange curiosity about my ancestors as well as others who have gone on before us. One thing I always took for granted during those traditional outings was the amount of knowledge that my elders had concerning the history of our family as well as the stories surrounding countless other graves that we would pass while walking among an otherwise myriad of questions. Now that I'm older, I have learned that when our loved ones pass away, a lot of the details in those stories told so many times in the past become lost... If they're not documented. One of the most frustrating things I would experience as a young person out "graving" with the family, would be to happen upon a grave marker that would just beg for the observer to ask questions concerning the person it was representing. Questions that no one had answers to. My passion is to go beyond the inscriptions and bring historically accurate information to the memorials that will highlight the humanity of the deceased and to help to bring clearer understanding to all of those who are bound to have questions when they see a name, two dates, and are left with a desire to know more.
If I ask to have a memorial transferred to my management, I assure you that it is for more than just an edit or two. I am NOT doing any of this for "numbers."
I'll happily transfer memorials to persons who are directly related to or have more beneficial knowledge of the deceased.
