Hello, my name is Lauren but you can refer to me as Laure also. Mother of 3, nana to 5 … no great grandkids at the moment. I have been working off & on my family genealogy for approximately 20 years but only recently in the past 6-7 months have been working on it at least 5-20 hours per week. Tho it's not much, family & life 101 come first. I started up again after finding out granddaughter had a project in school that required some genealogy, family crest or coat of arms, tartan or history going 3-5 generations back. In not knowing I had "some information" she did a report instead. Thus began the return to my notes, papers & books … for knowing your roots, your family & the history can be a great journey. A family memento to pass down for generations to come is my goal.
It is my hope to find family connections that are willing share information, copies of photos, connections & corrections etc with the following surnames to make the connections:
Archer, Dow, Lee - settling in Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts areas, Randle, Connely (Connelly, Conley), Welch - settling in Tennessee, North & South Carolina, Kentucky areas moving forward to Iowa, Indiana & Oregon, Underhill, Starr, Chapman, Wendall, Blackmer (Blackmere, Blackmar)
If anyone has these connections or information, it would be an amazing addition to this journey & book.
