Bio

I'm a 16 year old looking to know more about family that had deceased before I was born or shortly after I was born. I was born to Douglas (Doug) & Monica Blackford. My mother had 2 maiden names due to her mothers last name at the time and her father as well who was never around. Those names were Luyet (Her mothers) and Wilham (Fathers). Luyet comes from her 4 brothers' father, and kept it when they divorced. My mom's Mother was Geraldene (Galbreath) Luyet Biltz and she had passed away in 2013. From that family I would love to know more about my mothers father; which I think is named Charles Wilham. All I know about Charles is how he faked his identity and how he passed away when my mother was 14 years old & one of his daughters that my mom had found on facebook named Janet, and of course my mother telling me that this might be why I want to be a lawyer, mentioning some of his other kids that my mom has never met are Lawyers. One other thing I know is where he is buried as I have seen his gravesite. My mother has (I think) 3 half siblings from her fathers side. Another person on my mothers side I want to know more about is Jim Galbreath, her grandfather! There's a lot of things my Uncles have told me about him, and how my mom was his angel before he passed away when she was younger. My dad was born to Rowlena Blackford (Divorced from Bill Blackford before; originally Trissel.) and his father that nobody truly knows about, Charles F. Holmes. Charles had an affair on his wife with my grandmother resulting in my father being born. All I know from my dad's fathers side of the family is his wife, and a few siblings. My dad did not get his fathers last name due to him not signing the birth certificate. From what I've heard from my grandma and father (he was 19 when his father passed away), is that he was in my dads life, but my dad was no where known anywhere else… His wife had known about the affair, and when my older brother was born in 1997, she had met him & my mother with my father. I have seen Charles' & his wife's grave stone & I have looked his name up in World War 2 things, and I haven't found a thing. I love finding out things about my family that isn't really known, it has always been fascinating to me. It makes me feel connected to people I have never been able to know, or have really ever been told about!
