I am a retired Letter Carrier. I decided to get into photographing headstones in my area because I noticed there were no volunteers locally. I have time on my hands and it makes for some good exercise. I will attempt to locate every available headstone but a lot of the local cemeteries have illegible or missing headstones. I have made a contact with the City of Hickory NC and he will allow me access to some cemetery records that are ,of course, incomplete.
Another reason for me volunteering on this site is in hopes that I will get some results from the requests I have made. Goodwill out, Goodwill in !
If my photo is incorrect or hard to see, send me a message, and next time I am out to your particular cemetery I will retake.
