Bio

I am a Georgia native, born and raised, and I am 34 years old. I explore my genealogy as deeply as I possibly can, and I visit as many ancestral grave sites as often as possible to make sure they're well-maintained, including decorated appropriately. I seek out graves of those with a military background, especially Confederate and American Revolutionary War, as they're often the most neglected and fragile to care for. It's also a duty to me being a Sons of Confederate Veterans member and Sergeant At Arms for Camp 94, Jackson County Volunteers. I am a direct descendant of at least 8 CSA Veterans, all of which made it home, and had several not survived, I either wouldn't exist or would at least have different ancestry. I've also found well over 2 dozen collateral ancestors that fought for Southern Independence and 10 direct Revolutionary War ancestors. I'm also the 7th great nephew of General Daniel Morgan. Where I live and where I come from is very important to me, and since I took an interest in it by age 9, I have learned a lot about myself from learning about those from which I come.
