A.J. Lott was Andrew Jackson Lott born Dec 1836 in Pickens County, Alabama and raised in Carroll County, Miss. His parents were Toliver Lott and Jane Telford Lott. His wife was Mary L. Nash born 1849 in Carroll Co., Miss. She died Mar 8, 1878 in Hill Co., Tx. They were buried in the Degraffenreid Cemetery and were reinterred in Whitney Cemetery when Lake Whitney covered the Cemetery. They were survied by one son, James Toliver Lott b mar 6, 1877.
