This is a small Quaker cemetery located along Rte 7, approximately 3/4 mile south of the bridge entering the town of New Milford. There used to be a Quaker meeting house, a 'salt box' structure located across the road from the cemetery. The Quakers established a new (1800's) meeting house further south on New Milford, along Rte 7. There is a larger cemetery located at that site. Both of the cemeteries are well maintained and there may still be burials permitted for members of the Society of Friends.
