Only 3 tombstones are still legible. They are John Yates, Malanie Yates and Melania Quincy.Other graves are visible and marked only with stone blocks or bricks. It is now being cared for by Jessie Wayne Yates. Wayne stated that the cemetery was in poor shape when he purchased the plot. He has not moved any of the markers and they remain as he found them. An interesting notes is the cemetery is adjacent to an old home place that is no longer there. The only object remaining is a well with a hand pump attached. It is a beautiful area with about 3 acres being maintained by Wayne.
