A Virtual Cemetery created by Donald Leonard Johnson

"MAM JOHNSON"

Like moms, grand mothers are one of a kind and we all had the best one. I never knew my grandmother Matilda Fields Johnson by any name except mam. I was fortunate enough to know her better than her husband "pap". I was twenty when my "mam" died in 1966 and still have fond memories of visiting her at her home on Bear Branch. My uncle Walter and his wife lived and made it possible for grandma mam, to live and die at her home. I would spend the night with my cousin Arthur and eat a breakfast of gravy and vianna sussage and good pone wheat bread, delicious breakfast and the sussage was a treat for me. THIS VITUAL CEMETERY WILL BE THE MEMORIALS OF MY DADS MOM, MATILDA FIELDS JOHNSON.
