Ruth Dorothy DiMaio (Damme)fought a terrible battle with colon cancer and eventually succumbed on August 30, 1968. She left behind three children: Sandra, Frank, and Tony, and many children, as well as many grandchildren she will never know but who will always be told of her memory. Her husband, Dominic Lawrence DiMaio, always told everyone that she was his true soul mate and was devastated by her death.
