Back to the Mayflower

Here lie those ancestors that rest between me and John Alden and Priscilla Mullins, who sailed on the first voyage of the Mayflower and landed in 1620 at what is now Plymouth, Massachusetts. I believe this is almost a complete set of memorials covering nearly a dozen generations. Generally, spouses of the direct descendants of John and Priscilla have been included. The only 'gap' in this collection is the memorial for Mary Ann Perkins, wife of Joseph R. Freeman, so only Joseph's memorial has been placed here. To the best of my knowledge, it is undisputed that Mary Ann Perkins was the daughter of Cynthia Pixley Perkins, who was the daughter of Abigail Alden and Argalus Pixley. Most likely she died and was buried sometime around 1860 in Van Buren County, Iowa. However, no grave or death record has yet been located.
