When Eldon Ethelridge Dasher was born on January 20, 1903, in Valdosta, Georgia, his father, Edwin, was 26 and his mother, Louanna, was 20. He had two sons and two daughters with Evelyn Prevatt between 1929 and 1935. He died on January 13, 1979, in Okeechobee, Florida, at the age of 75.
