This cemetery is located on Pope rd.on the old Carlton homeplace.Thomas Carlton Jr. moved here in 1811 from North Carolina. The graveyard is very small on the east side of the road.There are 4 marked Graves ; Thomas Carlton Jr. Nancy Wade Carlton ; David C. Carlton and second wife Martha Stem Carlton. Nancy T.Carlton Haynes and her husband William Henry Haynes are thought to lie in unmarked graves here. There is a posibility that David C. Carlton's First wife Matilda Jane Haynes Carlton may also lie here in an unmarked Grave.In the lower southern corner there was said that a couple of slaves were buried also.
