Ernest Paul Wesley,Sr. served his country. Was on 2 hospital ships work down in the engine room, when both ships were bombed. The 1st ship was the Shamrock, and the 2nd was Larkspur. After he was picked up on the Charles Stafford,and was handed his medical discharge papers. Ernest & his buddy was picked up by Polly Young (Actress) and brought to her home. Her sister Loretta Young (Actress) it was raining that day, so Loretta dry their clothes and fed them. Also she gave them bus flare to Chicago to Lombard. In Lombard is where he met Geraldine E. and they married on October 25, 1947 in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, and return to Lombard. And build their first home on 1416 S. Church St. had 4 children: Ernie, Jr., Laraine, Larry, Annie. Later they moved to Oswego in 1969 also he build another home on 6141 Plainfield & Cherry Rd. in Oswego. Later he retired from Argonne National Laboratory in Lemont, Illinois. Spend the time with his grandchildren: B@man, Amanda & his step-grandchildren: Stephanie & Jason. He also had Wesley Welding business in Lombard. He love to go Fishing & Camping. Travel a lot in Delray Camper & also travel to Europe in 1977 with his wife: Geri. His parents were: Ernest Frank Wesley & Gladys Mary Ketter. His siblings: Frances Ellen Wedin & Mavis Elvira Olderman-Zimmerman.
