Joseph "Frank"lin Nadeau was born in Bradley, Penobscot Cty, Maine to Haley J. Nadeau and Georgina "Gena" LaPlante in October 7, 1915. He married Gladys Rose Reid on 15 June 1940 in Sanford Maine. Gladys is the daughter of Ernest Alexander Reid and Mary Jane Porell-Reid. Frank and Gladys had a son, Daniel Allen Nadeau 27 January 1942, Sanford, Maine. Where their could have been celebration their was great sadness. Gladys was pregnant with a baby girl, whom he will never meet. He died 6 days before she was born of a heart attack. They had a daughter, Nancy Anne Nadeau-Bloodgood on September 5, 1944. Gladys Rose Reid-Nadeau remarried Harry P. Barraclough, Sr, of Sanford Maine,in 1948. They were married 67 years before Gladys death on November 14, 2015. Harry P. Barraclough passed away soon after May 3, 2016.
