A Virtual Cemetery created by David Foster

Virtual Boot Hill

“Boot Hill” was the name of several cemeteries located throughout the old West, the first of which was at Hays, Kansas, and the most famous of which is at Tombstone, Arizona. Other well-known such cemeteries in the frontier were at Dodge City, Kansas, and Deadwood, South Dakota. They were so named because of the number of cowboys buried there who died suddenly, “with their boots on.” I have here tried to collect into this single virtual cemetery the burial sites of some of the more well known characters in the story of the old west. Browse around, and enjoy!
