Front gateway on Monument Avenue, new as of May 2013. The "1860" refers to the cemetery's first dedication. The "1900" was the year of the dedication of the original gateway. President Abraham Lincoln's Tomb is the large monument in the center of the photo. Please do NOT copy or post to another website without asking for permission to use.

Oak Ridge Abbey is the first of two mausoleums to be erected in the cemetery and is located right inside the main gate. Dedication was Sept. 8, 1912, and it contains more than 1000 crypts. Door is kept locked and a key must be obtained from the cemetery office to gain entry.

The Chapel Mausoleum is the smaller and newer of the two mausoleums on the cemetery grounds. The Chapel Mausoleum is on the first road to your right after entering the cemetery through the main gate on Monument Drive. The door is kept locked and a key must be obtained from the office for entry.
