At this time, the site is pretty tragic-looking as the swamp is slowly reclaiming the spot. Cypress knees grow adjacent to the few grave markers that are left and several trees have come down as a result of Hurricane Ida, crushing portions of old wrought iron fencing that surrounded a portion of the markers.As of 1/23/22 it is harder than ever to see that a cemetery even exists there, even considering higher visibility due to the sparsely leaved brush and trees of winter.
