This is a photo of the old sign for the Rutledge Primitive Baptist Church and Cemetery in Crenshaw County, Alabama, that has been replaced with the granite one. On this sign the word Primitive is spelled correctly. The new sign spells it Primative. Notice that the church in the background had not yet been restored. The paint was peeling and chipping.
