In mid-July 2022, Lois C. Jenkins, a highly respected researcher known to many for her work with the Annapolis Heritage Society and the O'Dell Museum, added 137 burials to the Find A Grave's St. Albans Anglican Cemetery in Lequille, Annapolis County, FOR WHICH THERE ARE NO EXISTING MARKERS. Lois's sources include local Anglican burial records, provincial death records online, local funeral home records, and local newspaper obits. Most of the burials occurred between 1908 & 1950. One hundred of these are from the local black community, the primary families represented being BAILEY, BURRELL, LUCAW, MOSES, MUREE, RUGGLES & WALLACE, along with other names. Lois made family connections among the names where she had sufficient information. She would welcome suggestions for connections, additions, and/or corrections.
