The Jump Cemetery was located in Webster County Missouri Range 18, Township 31, Section 31. It was destroyed and the land plowed. There were about 30-40 graves there. The graves were near the old Jump School yard. From the Marshfield overpass on I44 (exit 100), take the north outer road east about 1/8 mile. Turn left or north and go about 1/2 mile. Turn left and go about 1 mile. Turn north about 1/2 mile to where the old Jump School and Cemetery were. Peter Jump, Mary Ann Hickman Jump, John W Jump, Susan (Long) Jump, Adda (Jump) Diehl, Mildred Diehl (daughter of Adda), two small Diehl boys, and several Mulnecks (a family name) were burried there. For whatever reason, John W Jump and Susan Long Jump were moved to the Marshfield Cemetery, and none of the rest were. I have the foot stone of John W. Jump from this original grave that I inherieted from my father Paul W. Jump Jr. Today nothing remains of either the school or the cemetery, only the name Jump Road.
