The Gore Family Cemetery is located at Dog Fork in Lawrence county, Ohio. It is on the back side of the hill just before the forks on the Rt. 217 side.

This layout of the Gore Family Cemetery was created by me (Mack Gore), about 1991 after I surveyed the grounds and made notes about the locations of the stones and markers.

There may be several unmarked graves in addition to the ones identified in my survey. Only a few had a headstone while others had metal markers from Phillips Funeral Home.

For years the cemetery was cared for by Katherine Lucille Gore Mays (1912-1993). Since then ATV riders have destroyed the cemetery, knocking over headstones that had stood for more than 130 years.
