The first one room structure was burned by a brush fire and this was the 2nd Coalville Methodist Church built in 1852. Additions were made across the back and on the left side and a porch was added later. The other old photo shows the additions. The old church was torn down circa 1968 and the new brick building replaced it. Rev. Louis Fayard is located in the center of the photo holding a bible.
