The Rouner-Minor Cemetery is east of Route E, 9 miles south from Knox City, just south of the Parking Area on Route E for the Sever Conservation Area. Or North on Route E from Newark MO. The private cemetery is in a field on the east side of the road. It was active from 1853 to 1915. It is about "30 feet square", enclosed with a wrought iron fence with some rust and leaning in places. There are trees in a vacant corner of the cemetery. Until recently there were only three large stones visable for six graves in the cemetery, all on the back side in center and at each end. Three smaller stones have been uncovered and set up since. There are nine marked graves.

From the Knox County Deed record in 1857: Book D, page 461-462, The Graveyard was excluded from the sale of the land by A.A. Rouner to Beverly Lewis Minor at that time. Further Stated in deed book 68 page 484, John W. Minor and Wife to Willis & Ernest Minor October 19, 1907.
A metal sign is attached to the gate stating in raised cast metal letters--
. ROUNER-MINOR
. CEMETERY
. 1853-1915
.DEED RECORDED 1857
The first burial was Lucinda (Morris) Rouner.
The Last was John Waller Minor husband of Mary Elizabeth Rouner, who was the daughter of A. A. and Lucinda Rouner. It appears that the Minor Family put up the wrought iron fence which was manufactured in Kenton Ohio.
