Frazier Cemetery
Jefferson, Marion County, Texas, USA
The Frazier family lived there at one time but other area residents are buried there, too. The cemetery has a chain link fence around it but there are numerous mounds of dirt outside the fence which could be graves as well.
According to one of the landowners, the State Historical Commission placed the chain link fence around the cemetery and erected the Texas State Historical Marker found there.
Directions: Take SH 49 northeast out of Jefferson, TX. Go 8.5 miles to a gate made of pipe on right. Enter gate and travel the dirt road for 1 mile south. Cemetery is on the left.
If you know of an interment that is not listed here (unmarked graves, cemetery history, etc.) or have photos of this cemetery, please contact Shirley Bray through any Frazier Cemetery memorial.
