Lakeview Cemetery Sign

On Thursday, May 30, 2013 an intense storm blew in off the lake and toppled several large elm trees at the Lake Street entrance of the cemetery. One large elm (approximately 30' to 40') fell into the pioneer burial section. This photograph was taken over one week later. It is unknown at this time how many of the old tombstones were damaged or destroyed.
