The Poplin cemetery is located about 7 to 8 miles South of Albemarle off Old Aquadale Rd. It is off Aquadale Rd. 3/4 to 1 mile roughly in Pine forest and is not maintained. The city of Albemarle is the county seat for Stanly County, North Carolina
