Leaving Kershaw going south toward Camden, about 3 miles, on left (east) side of road, white house set back from road, passing on a short distance, you reach a plantation road on your right,
Former owners – Hoyt Twitty Stover (1900-1986) and wife Bessie Ellen Williams (1898-1978). Flat Rock township. They lived there in 1940.
Old farmroad to graveyard is reached just before his house – still on your right - follow it a short distance into the woods
4 graves and a hole where Rev. Elias Lynch Fraser b. 29 April 1809 d. 2 June 1851 was moved to Old Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Lancaster. He was first married to Ann E. Williams, daughter of Robert Williams.
Surveyed: Many years ago by Hazel Parker Jones, Kershaw, S.C. as described in her book, THE SAMUEL JONES FAMILY BOOK 2.
Mrs. Hoyt Stover descended from the Truesdales, Wests, Kershaws and others traced in Hazel Parker Jones' books, including her paternal-line ancestor William Williams (1753-1831), son of Benjamin Williams (1733-96) and Rebecca Lockert.
