Photo taken about 1997. Building with blue door is the family mausoleum of the Lord who owned the estate. Cemetary sits on the hillside to the west above the "Cairn Holy" stones.

In April 2010 this statue by Ronald Rae stood outside the gate to the cemetery.Named Lazarus,it was carved out of an ancient standing stone linking Celtic and Christian beliefs.Granite: 7x3x3ft 3.00 tons.
Acces is by the lane which at the main A75 road is marked to Cairnholy.
Take the left fork through the yard of Kirkdale Mains farm and follow the track up through the fields. You will see the cemetery on the east edge of Clash woods.
