History of Swamp Creek Baptist Church and Cemetery:
The church's first location was on the Hickory Branch and the public road. This location in on Old Highway 41 about one mile north of Tilton Road & is on what is now known as the Burleyson's Dairy Farm. On the South side Branch & the West side of the road on a sharp knob is the old cemetery that has been unused for many years.
